Overview
The Cascade Meteor Tube String is a suspended decorative luminaire designed for cultural tourism landmarks, festival lighting, and architectural accent canopies. Each unit consists of eight slim polycarbonate tubes, 300 mm in length and 12 mm in diameter, arranged as a hanging set to produce the visual effect of falling meteors or rain curtains when animated.
Light Source and Control
Tubes are fitted with 5050 SMD LEDs. The standard configuration ships in a single fixed colour. A programmable RGB variant is available to order, enabling colour-chasing and dynamic sequences suited to themed entertainment environments and seasonal installations.
Electrical and Environmental
The string operates on DC 24 V, keeping exposed low-voltage conductors within safe-touch thresholds for public-facing venues. The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and directed water spray, making the product suitable for covered outdoor canopies, pergolas, and interior atria with high humidity.
Typical Applications
Festival and night-market canopy curtains, cultural tourism streetscapes, hotel atrium feature ceilings, and themed entertainment walkways.
