Overview
The Cygnus II is a freestanding sculptural luminaire formed as a full-size swan figure, designed for night-time animation of cultural tourism routes, lakeside promenades, resort grounds, and themed public spaces. The piece functions simultaneously as daytime sculpture and nighttime light source, removing the need for separate display and lighting elements.
Optical and Electrical Construction
Illumination is delivered by an SMD 5050 LED array distributed across the sculptural surface, operating at DC 24 V and drawing 120 W. The low-voltage supply simplifies integration with standard landscape power infrastructure and reduces shock risk in wet or public environments.
Enclosure and Installation
The housing carries an IP65 rating, making it suitable for permanent outdoor exposure including rain and ground-level splash. At 155 cm tall, 65 cm wide, and 102 cm deep, the figure has a commanding presence at pedestrian scale. The 24 kg mass provides inherent stability on a prepared flat base.
