Terrace Carry Lantern

The Terrace Carry Lantern is a self-contained solar garden luminaire designed for pathway edges, terraces, and decorative courtyard settings where mains power is impractical or unwanted. Its stainless-steel shell and acrylic diffuser combine weather resistance with a clean, contemporary silhouette that reads well in both daytime and after-dark contexts.

Construction

The upper section houses the 5 W solar panel; the lower section contains the Epistar LED module and the 3.2 V / 5 Ah lithium-ion battery pack. An integrated photosensor triggers the light automatically at dusk and shuts it off at dawn, requiring no manual intervention. The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and directed water jets.

Optical Performance

With CRI > Ra 85 and colour consistency held to less than 3 SDCM, the lantern renders landscape planting, stone, and timber with reliable colour accuracy. Four CCT options, 2200 K, 3000 K, 4000 K, and 6000 K, allow the warm amber character of a heritage garden or the cooler neutrality of a contemporary hardscape to be matched at specification.
