Overview

Contour 40 is a low-profile linear wall washer designed for continuous runs on building facades, colonnades, textured stone, and interior accent walls. Its extruded aluminium body, just 40 mm wide and 21 mm deep, keeps the fixture nearly flush with mounting brackets, minimising visual intrusion during the day.

Optics and Light Quality

The default asymmetric distribution of 10° × 60° concentrates output into a controlled grazing wash. Colour consistency is held to less than 3 SDCM, making adjacent units visually indistinguishable in long runs. Five selectable CCTs, 1800 K, 2200 K, 3000 K, 4000 K, and 6000 K, cover everything from warm amber accent to neutral white task environments. CRI exceeds Ra 85 throughout.

Construction

The housing is formed from drawn aluminium with a tempered glass front face, rated IP65 for continuous outdoor exposure. The fixture runs on DC 24 V, suitable for direct integration with standard architectural low-voltage driver infrastructure.

Control

Default operation is single-colour steady-on. DMX512 is available as a factory option for installations requiring scene control or dynamic colour-temperature sequences.
